This unique chalet from 1810 is located in the famous ski area ‘Les Portes du Soleil’ with more than 650 km of marked pistes.

L’étoile de Savoie is located at 2 km from the medieval village of Abondance which is situated in the French Alps just south of lake Geneva on the Swiss border. It is a small and quiet town with several bars, hotels, restaurants, shops and a lively sunday morning market serving the delicious Abondance cheese. One of its features is the 14th century Abbey. For a quick escape, Abondance is linked by a regular shuttle bus service to the fantastic Portes du Soleil ski fields. For those who prefer trekking, Abondance has marked snowshoe paths, with guided trips organised by the Guides Office.
